Testimonials

Below are testimonials on various seminars and workshops hosted/presented by Jane Cull, founder and lead consultant of Life's Natural Solutions. Jane has worked with leaders in business, academia, facilitators of social and environmental change, sustainability/ policy/ decision makers in government and non-government bodies.

Biology Of Human Existence, Institutional Evolution & Sustainability, Presidio College, San Francisco, USA, 2006

This seminar/workshop was run in conjunction with Manuel Manga, Centre for Evolutionary Leadership, Boston, USA.

Jane's work is inspiring and fresh. She combines her knowledge of Maturana's work with her own experience of sustainability to present a clear, coherent, and powerful approach to issues of human development. Such an approach is vital to the challenges faced by humankind in this day and age.

Jane Cull's deep understanding and clarification of Maturana's insights aside, what I find most impressive is her commitment to bringing these to bear in everyday living. And whenever anyone had anything to ask or offer, Jane was truly there to engage and learn together - rather than simply instruct or impress.

The Ontology of the Observer, The Biology of Cognition and the Biology of Love, Boston, MA, 1998

I thought the seminar was tremendously stimulating and very helpful in terms of consulting with clients and bringing forth new perspectives and new possibilities. Organizations and people get stuck - this is often a painful experience and one that doesn't feel particularly productive. A lot of bad decisions are made while in a state of 'stuckness'. The Maturana Workshop provided a foundation for getting unstuck by encouraging us to take on new perspectives. Many of the insights were ones I already knew, but now I know why they are true. I think I am a better observer of others and, most importantly, of myself. I very much enjoyed the discussion, the ideas and the caring and concern for individuals that made the workshop memorable and usable.
